The Zephyr and the Swallow is an ode to a pastoral scene. It takes its titles from a verse, which was written to inspire the music. The two-part composition describes the images evoked by the poetry. It conveys the scene with textured drones and unhurried melodies that gently unfold in a slow-moving soundscape. – More about the ideas that shaped The Zephyr and the Swallow here: bit.ly/thezephyrandtheswallow
